Introduction of Iron Strainer
iron strainer filters rust, pipe scale and dirt to protect valves, meters, regulators, etc. in steam, gases or liquid piping systems. The strainer includes a wire mesh straining screen that is accessible without removing the strainer from the line.
The strainer is a “Y” type with a branch angled off the flow path. It features a bolted bonnet with blow-off plug for screen maintenance. The strainers are equipped with flanged end connections for easy installation.
